Review
I really enjoyed the show. The cast was excellent, and the different actors who portrayed characters before and after their transformations did a fantastic job bringing the concept to life.
When I first heard about the series, I thought it might be similar to the The Substance starring Demi Moore, since both stories involve transformations and beauty. However, the show turned out to be very different and had its own unique style and story.
The series blends horror, mystery, and satire about society’s obsession with beauty, and it definitely feels like a classic Ryan Murphy production—stylish, strange, and sometimes shocking.
I’m also really looking forward to the next season of American Horror Story later this year. Ryan Murphy continues to prove that he’s an incredibly creative showrunner who has made many memorable series.
Hopefully The Beauty gets renewed for a second season because the story and world definitely have more potential to explore.
