Plot
American Horror Story: Delicate follows Anna Victoria Alcott, an A-list movie star balancing her rising career with her desire to start a family. She undergoes IVF treatments with her husband, Dexter “Dex” Harding Jr., but soon experiences strange, frightening events that make her suspect her pregnancy is being sabotaged or cursed. The season blends psychological horror with themes of pregnancy anxiety, paranoia, and identity as Anna questions who—or what—is trying to prevent her from becoming a mother.
This season is notable for being the first AHS season adapted from a novel (Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine) and the first with showrunner Halley Feiffer, giving it a distinct creative tone.
